So yesterday I was casually walking down the street on my way to buy 3 thousand tonnes of ice cream, when a man dressed in a funny hat gave me a parchment flyer (we all know parchment's pretty common, you guys). It turns out that The One of A Kind Heroine is Missing, and everyone is going bananas looking for her. This is a completely true story.*
Have
you come across the One of A Kind Heroine? Rumors have it, she's been
missing since I started reading YA books (what a coincidence!).
*No
it's not.
Bwahaha. SO AWESOME.
Wait, she's been missing since you started reading YA books?! THAT MEANS YOU ARE THE PROBLEM! Once we get rid of you, maybe she'll stop be so damn scared to show up in our stories! Geesh Reem, way to scare off all the YA heroines ;)
(Love this post btw!)
Ha! Glad you liked it Nafiza :)
Oooooh, I might be the problem! But she shouldn't be hiding from me. Apart from being really really evil, I want to read about her, so there's no reason to hide :/
Hahahahaha! This is hilarious! And so damn true! (Although the asshole one probably applies more to NA haha). "notify the Imaginary Association of WTF"- BEST. Seriously though, maybe Celaena from Throne of Glass? Yelena from the Study series? There definitely aren't that many.
Great post!
You're my hero! WHEN SOMEONE FINDS THAT HEROINE, I WANT TO HAVE A ONE-ON-ONE WITH HER.
Man, they can't just disappear like that >_>
Funny you're talking of parchment, since i tried making my own by splashing coffee on paper. It was very delicious-smelling paper. :D
But putting that aside, let's go post this everywhere and look for her. She was probably abducted by all those boring stereotype heroines because they were jealous of her.
Hmm, NA probably has more of those, I agree. Haha, I kind of giggled when I read Claena and Yelena. I have a 10 year old inside me who likes rhyming words :P But it's good to know there are heroines like that out there.
I know, right? I'd put her in EVERY BOOK!! SHE'LL BE EVERYWHERE!
I did that once! :P The paper actually looked kind of cool, and I love the smell of coffee.
Oooh,so now we have motive! That's interesting.
You know, I totally didn't think that this story was fake until you said so ;) I think I have found a few of those heroines! But they are really hard to find and the Mary Sues keep trying to keep them hidden.
BAHAHA! I love this. Nothing like a random Reem post to cheer me up XD I really don't know where the One Of A Kind Heroine may have went, though. I mean, I've never seen her before. Shame :( Well then, if I do get to find her (in a parallel universe) I'll make sure to let you know ;)
Haha, it is quite hard to tell apart. Parchment and all ;) And you're right, the Mary Sues are probably trying to hide her so they could get her gigs in books!
I think she decided to disappear once we started reading books. Ugh, what a coincidence. But fear not, cause I make an awesome detective, and I WILL FIND HER!
I love this. I don't really have a productive comment to say except that I love this and am so linking to this post next week in my round-up. Reem, what pure awesomeness. (But hey--I still use smexy :(, only it is never combined with "stud" 'cause there's an exit sign by the door for that dude).
Yaaay! That is so awesome to hear. And yeah, the combination of stud AND smexy might be lethal.
Okay. Okay. I was glad that I went snooping in your blog and found this. It's such a stress reliever.
Hha! Glad I could be of help. My random posts work as a stress reliever for me too.
I hope you'll not get tired in posting articles such as this one, Reem. :D
I better write that number down in case I spot her!
Great post =)
Yup, yup. It's totally legit too! ;)
Thanks Rinn!
