This is a new feature where I'll recap whatever happened on this blog and others during the last few days.
On I Read & Tell:
Yours truly started to finally get her act together and resume writing. I went to Starbucks today so I won't be distracted and sat down to write, write and write some more. I managed to reach 4K which really is something considering I used to parade the halls when I wrote 500 words in one sitting.
Which brings me to this little idea I have. Since the blogging community is abso-freaking-tutly awesome, I was wondering if any of you is willing to pitch a phrase or simply a word in the comments below on which I can write a short story every week. I'm not sure if this will be a weekly thing, but it will be helpful to keep my writing machine going, you know?
So any random phrase from "Orange Peeler" to "The secrets of the universe" would do. I just need some sort of challenge to start writing something. Also, since the short story will be posted here, I'll make sure to link back to the blogger (if you are a blogger) in the post.

ReplyDeleteOoooooooookay. So, you're writing?! That's amazing. I thought I could before, but even though I have like a billion ideas in my head, my writing skills are poor. As for an idea... a word... hmm.
ReplyDeleteFuture. Secrets. Special. Beach. Summer. Blood and gore. Shirtless men, rolling around in mud, playing rugby (okay, that is from a book I've read, I confess xD).
I can't wait until you post a story! I don't think I was really helpful with the words, though. haha
