Characters You Shouldn't Dress Up As For Halloween

Halloween is right around the corner, so get your pumpkins ready, and more importantly, your costumes! Some of you might be contemplating dressing up as a fictional character, which is cool and all, but you have to put in mind that some characters don't make for a handy costume.

1. Jacob Black,

While he will certainly be an eye turner, turning into a werewolf  might be uncomfortable for some. Plus, he's too high of a goal to live up to. Although, if you're worried about getting Jacob's fantastic figure, just stick a six bun pack to your abs. No one will even notice.

2. Batman

Spandex is a bitch.

3. Kantiss Everdeen,

Unless you have some really great archery skills, you might poke someone's eye with an arrow. Exceptions can be made if you're in some really bad company.

4. Edward Cullen,

Requires excessive amount of glitter.

5. Jon Snow,

Under no circumstances should you go as Jon Snow. Unless, of course, you know nothing.

  1. Haha "unless, of course, you know nothing." I'm going as Zombie Cinderella :D

  2. These are all LOL. But oh no, I've always wanted to be Catwoman :D

  3. Definitely agree with this. Excess glitter would get everywhere if you even attempted to go as Edward Cullen. I have a Star Trek officer's uniform/jumpsuit for Halloween and I'm super excited for it! :)

  4. hahaha these are great!
But what are you talking about? Edward Cullen would be the perfect thing to dress up as! It's a guy's chance to really shine...uh, sparkle! :P
As to who I'm dressing up as- no one! We don't celebrate Halloween here in Australia!

Excess glitter? Nope! My mom used to scare me by saying they suck your blood (irony HAHA). I still half-believe in that XD I saw someone dressed up as Jon Snow. You CANNOT rock a Jon Snow costume! Batman could work for a kid, but Spandex for a grown man? Nope. And unless someone has legit abs, I do not recommend the Jacob look either. Real abs or nothing. HAHA great post Reem :D

  6. Hahaha, another great post, Reem! The funny thing is, my husband could totally cosplay as Jon Snow because he actually has a lot of the same features (although I think my husband is better looking than the actor :P). Plus, he's collecting survival gear (or something), and he already has some swords, so it could work! I, however, will never cosplay as that redhead who keeps telling Jon that he knows nothing (I really don't like her).

  7. OMG! HDKJFHPORJDLAJDJFHSLELSSFHGLALWLDLGLS! Okay, that was a point where I'm drowning from my saliva and my tongue is moving too much from excessive laughing.

    1. Why in the heavens would people want to wear dress up as Jacob? Are they running out of ideas? But sure, if they are going for the hunky look then they will save a lot of money. They will just wear their old pants and nothing else. And the buns are cheap too so yeah.

    2. Ahm. Batman is already overused. Let him retire people. That spandex isn't good for your skin especially if you're wearing your briefs over the leggings.

    3. Exceptions can be made if you're in some really bad company.- LOL! But I still want to dress up as Katniss...when she was being presented to the Panem citizen. But I don't think I will have the money to have it made.

    4. GOOD LORD! The one who will do it is a masochist.

    5. Uhm... Who is Jon Snow? xD

  8. There goes my plan to dress as Jacob! Then again, I don't like the idea of going around with no shirt.

But I agree about Batman! That suit would be a pain.

I'm tempted to learn archery so I can dress up as Katniss next Halloween. I'm almost always in bad company, soooooooo....

You know, I used to love glitter so much when I was younger! I would have been one freaky tiny Edward Cullen. True story.

  9. This just made me laugh so much!! Let's be honest, if you want to go as Edward Cullen, you're going to have to swim in Glitter before you get the desired effect....am I right? Hehe! Great Post!

  13. Yeah, we don't celebrate it either here. I mean, there are some parties in other cities, but for the most part, it's not a common thing :D

  14. Ha! That oughta work ;P

And no, you can not. I mean, if it makes HIM look bad, then I don't know.. it's just not flattering.

  15. Really?! Errm... considering how many fans Kid Harrington has (Jon Snow).. I'd say hide your husband :p But that's awesome though :D

It's cheap, and it'll get tehh ladies' attention (not mine, though. He looks really... yeugh).

I know, right? Plus, not many people can pull of the Batman.

Oooooh!! that's nice. And did you see the dresses she wears in the trailer? Pretty cool!

Hahaha! :P he'll be really flashy, I'll give him that.

From the Game of Thrones ;)
